Lucy Romain

Head of Compliance, Spire Homecare

Lucy Romain has built a broad career in health and social care, progressing from Registered Manager roles to senior operational leadership and her current role as Head of Compliance at Spire Homecare. She has managed and supported residential, supported living, domiciliary care and day services, including setting up a domiciliary service and helping turn around services that needed improvement. Her experience spans care quality, safeguarding, staff development and regulatory compliance across CQC- and CIW-regulated services. Lucy holds Health and Social Care qualifications from Levels 2 to 5 and has developed Spire's governance dashboard to help managers monitor standards, address gaps and track improvement actions.
